Armed with our passion to teach and our love for languages, we opened My Language Cafe, an up-and-coming language school in early 2011, offering German, English, Spanish and French lessons for kids and adults. One big world with seven large continents comprises 196 different countries, one of which is the Philippines. The Pearl of the Orient Seas (Philippines) consists of 7, 107 islands which includes the oldest city of the country, the Province of Cebu. Located on the central part of Visayas and situated to the East of Negros and to the West of Leyte and Bohol Islands. It is surrounded by 167 neighbouring smaller islands which include Bantayan, Olango, Malapascua, Mactan and Camotes Islands. Sugbo, other term for Cebu is one of the most developed provinces in the Philippines with Cebu City as the main center of trade, commerce, education and industry in the Visayan Islands. The province is labelled as the Island of Festivals due to the fame and number of festivals being celebrated in a year. A great start to visit Cebu is to celebrate Sinulog, the renowned annual festival held on the third Sunday of January which commemorates the Filipinos’ acceptance of Roman Catholicism. Tourists from diverse countries come and visit Cebu not only by watching different festivals but also to explore the beauty of the province.
